On May 27, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the awards ceremony for the 2026 Bourstad Competition will be held at CIRANO.

Under the honorary chairmanship of Ms. Julie-Andrée Côté, CFA, Chair of the Board of Directors of CFA Montréal, beginners as well as more experienced investors had the opportunity to manage a virtual portfolio of $200,000 and invest this amount by choosing securities among a selection of real stocks listed on stock markets during the Bourstad 2026 simulation held from February 9 to April 10, 2026.

During the ceremony, the contest jury, chaired by Mr. Michel Gariépy, Analyst in the Financial Education Division of the Autorité des marchés financiers, will award prizes totaling more than $30,000 to the participants who have distinguished themselves most in the various categories of the competition, namely: financial performance, portfolio management, and responsible investing.
