Faye Diamantoudi appointed Executive Vice-President, Academic Affairs at Concordia University

CIRANO warmly congratulates Professor Effrosyni Diamantoudi, Researcher and Fellow, on her appointment as Executive Vice-President, Academic Affairs at Concordia University.

Approved by the University’s Board of Governors, this appointment takes effect on May 1, 2026, for a five-year term. Professor Diamantoudi had been serving in this role on an interim basis since September 2025.

A professor in the Department of Economics at Concordia University, Faye Diamantoudi is a recognized researcher whose work focuses in particular on coalition formation, strategic foresight, cartel stability, and international environmental agreements. She holds a PhD from McGill University and actively contributes to advancing knowledge in these fields.

Engaged with CIRANO as a Researcher and Fellow, she has also served on its Board of Directors and contributes to the promotion of research and the dialogue between academic and policy-making communities.

Prior to this appointment, she served as Dean of Graduate Studies at Concordia University since February 2023.
