Organized by the Maison des affaires publiques et internationales, in collaboration with CIREQ and CIRANO, this workshop on quantitative program evaluation will bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss issues related to measuring the impact of public policies.
Using concrete examples and rigorous methodological approaches, the workshop will provide a better understanding of how to distinguish between correlation and causation, and how to use administrative data and econometric tools to assess the actual effects of public interventions.
Aimed at analysts, program managers, provincial and federal government officials, as well as researchers and graduate students, this workshop aims to strengthen analytical capabilities and equip participants to make evidence-based decisions.
Registration is free, but mandatory.
