At the AI Summit held in Paris, Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, Thierry Warin, and Anne-Marie Hubert, participated in several key events, actively contributing to discussions on artificial intelligence and its implications for the future of work, accessibility, sustainable finance, and open science.

Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin, professor at Polytechnique Montreal, CIRANO researcher and Fellow, took part as a panellist in the UNESCO-IFAP AI Action Summit on « Artificial Intelligence, Accessibility, and Human-Centered Digital Futures », addressing issues related to AI accessibility and societal impacts. She also participated in the 2025 International Day of Women and Girls in Science at UNESCO, highlighting the role of women in science and technology. Additionally, she represented OBVIA at the launch of the AI@Work_Lab Network, an initiative led by Inria (Institut national de recherche en sciences et technologies du numérique) and its partners to explore AI's impact on the future of work.

Together with Anne-Marie Hubert, CIRANO Invited Fellow, she announced the launch of the « AI Action Plan for Climate Transition Plans », an initiative of the Forum Finance Durable at CIRANO. This project aims to support sustainable finance investors in better anticipating the risks and opportunities associated with AI while fostering a climate of trust for its adoption.

Meanwhile, Thierry Warin, professor at HEC Montréal, expert at OECD-GPAI and CIRANO researcher and Fellow, delivered the opening keynote at the event « Science and Technology Initiatives to Foster Cooperation on AI… Time for Action », organized by Inria in collaboration with CEMIA, NICT, and the OECD. He also met with Dr. Ezra Clark and his team at UNESCO to discuss open science and science diplomacy, as well as to present the initiative « Women in Data Science in Africa ».

These discussions strengthened international collaboration on key issues related to artificial intelligence and the governance of emerging technologies.
