Programmation de Recherche à Portée Gouvernementale on public policy and the labour market (PRPG): Discover the activities!

  • Publication of the first CIRANO project report under the Programmation de Recherche à Portée Gouvernementale on Public Policy and the Labour Market (PRPG)

The aim of the structuring project on the state of the labour market in Quebec is to define six different areas of the PRPG's research programme (labour market participation, immigration, teaching and education, innovation and productivity, taxation and regulation) by identifying known data, available information and analyses already carried out. Each of these areas is the subject of a separate chapter.

A number of CIRANO researchers, experts in their fields, took part in the project: Fabian Lange (McGill University and CIRANO), Luc Godbout (Université de Sherbrooke and CIRANO), Marie Connolly (UQAM and CIRANO), Brahim Boudarbat (Université de Montréal and CIRANO), Benoit Dostie (HEC Montréal and CIRANO) and Genevieve Dufour (CIRANO).

The report was first presented to the PRPG interdepartmental committee last November.
