Appointment of Alejandro Romero-Torres as Vice-Dean for International Affairs at ESG UQAM

The appointment of Alejandro Romero-Torres, CIRANO Researcher and Professor in the Department of Management and Technology at the École des sciences de la gestion of the Université du Québec à Montréal, as Vice-Dean for International Affairs has been officially confirmed. He succeeds Professor Naoufel Daghfous, whose contribution to the leadership of international affairs was acknowledged.

Over more than a decade at ESG UQAM, Mr. Romero-Torres has played a decisive role in advancing the School’s international outreach. His work has supported the recognition of academic programs, the development of international partnerships, and the promotion of ESG UQAM’s expertise in sustainable management, innovation, and social responsibility.

In his new role, he reiterates that internationalization remains central to the School’s mission and represents a key strategic lever to enhance its academic and institutional impact within the Francophonie and on the global stage.
